Throughout this summer, we are embarking on an exciting new series focusing on a deep dive into the book of Psalms. Each week, we will carefully examine various Psalms to understand how they can profoundly impact and shape the way we live as followers of Christ. To enhance our engagement with these passages, I want to introduce the practice of Lectio Divina as a powerful method for meditating on the rich and meaningful content of the Psalms we will be delving into.

Step 1 - Silence - Take time to quiet your thoughts in preparation for the reading of Scripture.

Step 2 - Read - Read and listen for what God wants you to hear at this moment in time. Take one or two scriptures a day or read them all. Slowly read the scriptures aloud at least three times, pausing after each reading.

Step 3 - Meditate - What word or phrase seems to be speaking to you? Reflect on its application to your life. Write it down.

Step 4 - Pray - Pray in response to the words and phrases God has brought to mind at this moment.
